The Pontifical Oriental Institute, thanks to the support of its benefactors, has a fund to help pay the academic fees of ordinary deserving students who are in difficult economic conditions, starting from the second semester of the study cycle.
It also benefits from the “Fondo Sostegno Studi” (DIR Scholarship) allocated by the Superior General of the Society of Jesus to support the academic pursuit of students of the Jesuit Consortium in Rome, especially laywomen and laymen, then religious women and men, and priests.
Finally, there is a scholarship named in honor of Father Poggi (Poggi Scholarship), also aimed at supporting the academic pursuit of a deserving student, the disbursement of which is determined by a specific commission.
See the Institute’s bulletin board or click here to view the DIR and Poggi Scholarship announcements, which are published during the second semester of each academic year.
