Title XXII faces the problem of administrative justice in the Church, that is, the norm regarding direct procedures to resolve controversies surrounding a single administrative act. Title XXIX treats the right in a normative sense, more specifically, laws and customs. Title XXX treats the prescription as an juridical institute and the provision of time as a means of assuring the certainty of the right.
Being predominantly technical canons, their mastery is fundamental since they represent the frame within which are gathered all of the other specific norms throughout the Code, with the ultimate end that is the salvation of souls.
