Biography

He comes from a family of 4 children, three of whom are Jesuit priests. During his theological studies, he also studied music at the Academy of Performing Arts in Bratislava, where he graduated in 1992. He was ordained a priest on 29th June 1996 in Bratislava, together with one of his brothers. In 2002 he obtained the Licentiate of Fundamental Theology at the Pontifical Gregorian University. In 2008 he completed his Doctorate in Theology at the same university. He also obtained the Doctorate in Music Education at the Catholic University in Ružomberok, Slovakia.
